The Lead Entity & Shared Services Technology will play a pivotal role in driving technology initiatives across the Group, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of business systems within Corporate and Family Wealth & Governance (FWG) sectors. This position involves leading a team of Business Analysts, fostering collaboration between Technology and business units, and managing vendor and service relationships to optimize technology operations and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership
- Assist the Technology Leadership Team in prioritizing and executing technology initiatives within the Group, ensuring successful outcomes through effective resource management.
- Lead and mentor Business Analysts to ensure high performance, quality project delivery, and exceptional service standards.
- Act as a critical liaison between Technology and business stakeholders to capture, translate, and track key requirements into scalable technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering and project scoping in collaboration with Project Teams.
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to manage expectations and promote effective communication.
- Collaborate with Development, Data, and Engineering teams to optimize development cycles and encourage teamwork within the Technology department.
- Partner with Technology Leadership to ensure transparent communication and integrate new ideas, pain points, and improvement opportunities into operational planning.
- Align team goals with broader organizational objectives and monitor key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate leadership by exemplifying company policies and promoting a positive, inclusive team culture.
- Oversee the efficient operation of business systems supporting FWG, Corporate, and Governance lines, working closely with Run teams to ensure minimal downtime and prompt issue escalation.
- Provide operational support to shared service functions such as Corporate and Compliance, with a deep understanding of their technological needs.
- Advocate for and support the use and development of proprietary systems including BASE and BGX.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of business documentation and project roadmaps that enable seamless implementation of new functionalities and process enhancements.
- Coordinate efforts between Build and Run teams to ensure comprehensive support for all business systems.
- Implement and champion best practices in IT service management, ensuring tickets, change requests, and service level agreements (SLAs) are diligently managed.
- Maintain productive vendor relationships to ensure contractual SLAs are met and operational standards upheld.
