As a Senior Aerodynamics Surface Design Engineer, you will collaborate closely with aerodynamicists, design engineers, CFD analysts, manufacturing, testing, and development teams. What You Will Do
- Designing Surfaces: creating and designing aerodynamic surfaces using CATIA, focusing on components such as wings, diffusers, sidepods, and other aerodynamic elements.
- Collaboration and Communication: working closely with aerodynamicists, engineers, and other team members to understand performance requirements, constraints, and evolving design objectives.
- CAD Modeling: developing detailed CAD models and prototypes for aerodynamic surfaces, ensuring they meet aerodynamic targets and manufacturing feasibility.
- Optimization: iteratively refining designs based on simulation results, wind tunnel testing, and real‑world performance data to maximize aerodynamic efficiency and downforce while minimizing drag.
