Role Purpose
Boku is looking to hire an experienced Product Manager on either FTC or contract basis to take ownership of key features end‑to‑end in the product areas – Treasury Management System (TMS) and Settlement. The role focuses on delivering outcomes for the Acquiring and Settlement roadmap based on agreed KPIs and metrics, working with business stakeholders, engineering, and the wider business in Boku.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate roadmaps for features in the Treasury Management and Settlement and follow through with the successful delivery.
- Collaborate with the wider Product team to ensure alignment with other related roadmaps.
- Ensure the Product and Sprint Backlog are fully refined and ready for the engineering team.
- Guide all stakeholders through a positive journey regarding roadmap, delivery, and continuous feedback & improvement.
- Continuously improve product performance by assimilating user and market feedback.
Measures of Success
- Achieve KPIs and metrics stipulated in the TMS and Settlement area.
- Secure 100% Product Acceptance by the business and operational stakeholders.
- Maintain good working relationships with stakeholders as proven by feedback.
- Contribute to the betterment of product management methodologies.
Key Skills, experience and Competencies
Must Have
- 5‑10 years of Product Management experience, preferably in a FinTech scale‑up handling payments, FX and treasury domains.
- Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum environment with strong product backlog ownership and prioritisation skills.
- Experience implementing or integrating a COTS treasury platform (e.g., Kyriba) or similar third‑party products in a payments workflow.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to write high‑quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and manage edge cases.
- Tech‑no‑functional versatility to articulate technical dependencies on product/functional outcomes.
- Delivery‑focused with a proven track record of shipping complex products or system implementations on time.
- Ability to operate at both strategic (vision, roadmap) and tactical (feature‑level execution) depth.
- Capacity to function autonomously and persuade stakeholders on a journey.
- Strong collaboration skills with engineers and QA testers, including participation in solution design, testing cycles, and defect triage.
- Excellent stakeholder management across finance, treasury, engineering, compliance, and external vendors.
- Outcome‑oriented mindset with experience defining KPIs and driving measurable business impact.
- Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations in financial services environments.
Desirable
- Understanding of treasury operations: cash management, liquidity forecasting, payments, bank connectivity, and reconciliation.
- Direct experience with Kyriba implementation (configuration, integrations, data migration, bank connectivity).
- Strong analytical skills using data to inform prioritisation and decision‑making.
- Experience working in global or multi‑entity financial environments.
Qualifications (if required)
Degree‑level qualification in a related field.
