Role Purpose
The Marketing Operations Manager owns the systems, data and processes that power how Boku Marketing operates globally and how Marketing feeds the wider go-to-market motion. This hands-on role combines deep technical expertise with strategic, commercial leadership: building a trusted MarTech foundation, improving marketing influence and attribution, and turning campaigns into measurable pipeline and revenue impact. The role works closely with Demand Generation, Sales and Revenue Operations to deliver scalable campaign operations, disciplined lead management and practical AI-enabled ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
Own and continuously improve the operating model, technology and data that enable Marketing to plan, execute and measure high-impact global activity.
- MarTech stack and architecture: Own the end-to-end marketing technology stack, anchored on Salesforce and Account Engagement. Configure, document and optimise integrations, data flows, permissions and processes so the stack is reliable, scalable and easy for teams to use.
- Marketing influence, attribution and reporting: Build and evolve marketing influence and attribution models that connect programmes and touchpoints to pipeline and revenue. Establish reporting standards and actionable dashboards for campaign performance, funnel conversion, contribution and ROI.
- Lead lifecycle management: Design and maintain the trackable path from initial signal and conversion capture through enrichment, scoring and qualification to sales handover, opportunity creation and revenue. Partner with Revenue Operations to define service levels and measure lead-to-opportunity performance.
- Lead scoring and data strategy: Build and iterate fit, engagement and intent scoring models. Own data hygiene, enrichment, segmentation, consent and governance practices, including GDPR and applicable regional requirements.
- Campaign and event operations: Build and optimise event, email and nurture campaigns in Account Engagement. Partner with marketing stakeholders to create repeatable campaign workflows, audience logic, tracking and post-campaign measurement.
- ABM operations: Enable our account-based marketing approach through account selection, segmentation, buying-group data, account journeys, orchestration and measurement in close partnership with Demand Generation, Sales and Channel Marketing.
- AI and workflow automation: Turn AI into practical improvements by automating recurring work, reducing manual effort and improving quality. Build and maintain Marketing’s AI standardisation framework, including approved tools, prompt libraries, review standards and data handling rules.
- Marketing operating cadence: Support marketing leadership to define strategic initiatives, targets and OKRs; manage the operational cadence and leadership reviews; track budget and progress; and unblock cross-functional initiatives across demand generation, channel marketing and brand.
- Process improvement and delivery: Drive operational efficiency by identifying friction, establishing best-practice project management methods and coordinating high-priority integrated campaigns across content, events and ABM.
- Team enablement and adoption : training programmes, playbooks, documentation, office hours, new-user onboarding, and using adoption feedback to improve processes.
Measures of Success
- Trusted marketing data: agreed data-quality standards, documented governance and measurable improvement in completeness, accuracy and compliance.
- Lead lifecycle performance: visible conversion and velocity from MQL through sales acceptance, opportunity creation, pipeline and revenue.
- Effective scoring and handover: scoring model and service-level performance regularly reviewed with Revenue Operations and Sales, with actions taken to improve quality and follow-up.
- Campaign and event operational excellence: campaigns launched accurately, on time and with consistent audience, tracking, consent and reporting standards.
