Role Purpose
Boku are wanting to hire an experienced Product Manager on either FTC or contract basis to take ownership of key features end to end in the product areas - Treasury Management System (TMS) and Settlement as needed, and deliver the desired outcomes pertaining to the Acquiring and Settlement roadmap, based on agreed KPIs and metrics, by working with business stakeholders, engineering, and the wider business in Boku.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulating roadmaps of features in the Treasury Management and Settlement; and follow on with the successful delivery of those features.
- Work with the wider Product team to ensure full alignment with other roadmaps that relate to the TMS and Settlement.
- Ensure Product and Sprint Backlog are always fully refined and ready for the engineering team.
- Ensure all types of stakeholders are taken on a positive journey with respect to roadmap, delivery and continuous feedback and improvement.
- Ensure there is continuous improvement in the product performance by proactively assimilating feedback from the users and the wider market.
Measures of Success
- Achievement of KPIs and Metrics stipulated in the TMS and Settlement Area.
- 100% of Product Acceptance by the business and operational stakeholders.
- Good working relationship with all stakeholders proven by feedback received.
- Contribution to the betterment of product management methodologies.
Key Skills, experience and Competencies
Must Have:
- 5–10 years of Product Management experience, preferably in a FinTech scale up handling payments, FX and treasury domains.
- Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with strong product backlog ownership and prioritisation skills.
- Even if not as SME, but in a product role - experience implementing and/or integrating a COTS treasury platform (e.g., Kyriba or similar TMS solutions) or similar third party products in a payments workflow.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to write high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and manage edge-cases.
- Techno-functional versatility to articulate technical dependencies on product / functional outcomes.
- Delivery-focused with a demonstrated track record of shipping complex products or system implementations on time.
- Ability to operate at both strategic (vision, roadmap) and tactical (feature-level execution) depth.
- Proven capability to function autonomously and persuasive skills to take stakeholders on a journey.
- Strong collaboration skills with engineers and QA testers, including participation in solution design, testing cycles, and defect triage.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across finance, treasury, engineering, compliance, and external vendors.
- Outcome-oriented mindset with experience defining KPIs and driving measurable business impact.
- Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations in financial services environments.
- An understanding of treasury operations: cash management, liquidity forecasting, payments, bank connectivity, and reconciliation.
- Direct experience with Kyriba implementation (configuration, integrations, data migration, bank connectivity).
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform prioritization and decision-making.
- Experience working in global or multi-entity financial environments.
Qualifications (if required)
Degree level qualification in a related field.
