Responsibilities
- Work Order Management: Create new & updating existing PM Job Plans inside Maximo (using content prepared by maintenance supervisors and operations).
- Track, update, and close maintenance work orders in Maximo.
- Print & prepare work orders for distribution.
- Updating & printing scheduling documents.
- Entering labor into Maximo against work orders as required.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Develop Planning Process SOPs.
- Maintain detailed logs of repairs, preventative maintenance (PM) schedules, and equipment service history.
- Generate weekly/monthly reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance costs.
Administrative Support:
- Schedule meetings - take notes & update documents.
- Filing records.
- Other duties as directed.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- 1-3 years of clerical or administrative experience, ideally in a maintenance or industrial setting.
- Essential skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and CMMS software, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to prioritise tasks.
- The role may involve physical tasks like sitting or standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting items up to 25.
Typical Work Environment
Maintenance Clerks are often based in an office within facilities such as warehouses or manufacturing plants. They may occasionally need to visit production areas or outdoor locations to assist with equipment checks.
