Boisdale, founded by Ranald Macdonald in 1988, began as a modest bar and restaurant in Belgravia, London. Over the years, it has grown into a renowned establishment recognized as the home of Highland hospitality in the heart of London. With additional locations including Canary Wharf, Boisdale offers a unique experience combining exquisite cuisine, live music, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Reservations, Events & Office Manager located in Belgravia. The role involves overseeing reservations, managing events, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
Key responsibilities will include:- Support Head of Sales & Business Development
- Oversee the day to day running of the central reservations office, including the procurement of office sundries
- Promote & maximise the occupancy and revenue of all restaurant & private dining spaces
- Carry out effective supervision of the event coordinator, reservation & reception teams including the doorman
- Support the seamless & effectiveness of the Event, Reservation & Reception function
- Support and oversee the Boisdale Club membership together with the head of Sales and the wider Reservation & events team
- Assist with the positive progress of Boisdale as a Restaurant, Event & Live Music business
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Experience in administrative assistance and office administration to handle daily operations and paperwork efficiently.
- Proficiency in managing office equipment and tools to ensure smooth functionality in the workplace.
- Customer service experience to provide exceptional service and handle reservations and events professionally.
- Organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Knowledge of Quadranet, DBX, OpenTable, Collins, Design My Night and/or other reservation systems is required.
- A hands-on, natural leader with strong communication & organisational skills and the ability to coach and motivate the team to deliver a ‘best in class guest experience.
- Solution orientated & an ability to multitask is essential!
- Enthusiastic team player with a guest focused approach and excellent attention to detail.
