We are seeking a Combustion Service Engineer, a role in which the successful candidate will provide installation, commissioning, inspection and servicing activities on a range of industrial combustion equipment and associated steam system parts on a routine/scheduled basis, or in response to unexpected faults, on sites throughout Scotland.

  • Service and optimise industrial boilers and burners
  • Perform planned maintenance and safety inspections
  • Diagnose faults and resolve breakdowns quickly
  • Calibrate and test valves and combustion controls
  • Ensure compliance through accurate service reports
  • Provide reliable on-site engineering support for customers

We are seeking a Service Engineer to carry out installation, inspection and maintenance of customers' industrial steam boilers, valves, and associated steam system parts on a routine/scheduled basis, or in response to unexpected faults – on sites throughout Scotland. Engineers with mechanical and electrical experience are welcomed – along with all levels of experience.

  • Install, service and commission industrial boiler systems
  • Inspect and overhaul valves and steam system components
  • Support call-out rota and overtime as required
  • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance and repairs
  • Prepare equipment for statutory inspections and NDT
  • Provide clear service reports and customer feedback

The Gas Service Engineer will carry out preventative and reactive service and maintenance activities on a range of gas and combustion equipment for our customers throughout Scotland. The postholder would be involved in commercial works whilst also making the transition into industrial equipment – fully supported with robust training and mentoring.

  • Maintain domestic and commercial gas and combustion equipment
  • Respond to callouts, diagnose faults and complete repairs
  • Install, commission and service gas and combustion systems
  • Support mechanical and electrical work on steam plant
  • Produce accurate reports and keep customers informed
  • Build customer relationships and flag upgrade opportunities
