Boiler Shop is a historic venue located in Newcastle Upon Tyne, originally constructed in the 1820s for the world’s first locomotive works, Robert Stephenson & Company. Following a major refurbishment in 2016, the space has been transformed into a vibrant arts and music center. Known for its versatility, Boiler Shop hosts live music events, club nights, exhibitions, and food and drink festivals. The venue holds a unique cultural significance, embodying a fusion of historical legacy and modern creativity.
We are currently seeking a Bar Supervisor for a full‑time, on‑site position at our unique venue in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The Bar Supervisor will oversee daily bar operations, manage and coordinate staff, and ensure exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include:
- Leading and training team members
- Maintaining a welcoming and efficient bar environment
- Monitoring inventory
- Assisting in operational planning for events
This role requires dynamic leadership and a dedication to creating a positive experience for all guests.
Qualifications
