Bohunt Education Trust is seeking an ambitious and values-driven leader to join our dynamic and committed improvement team as Deputy Director of Secondary Education. This is a rare opportunity to work across a family of ambitious secondary schools, driving excellence in curriculum, assessment and outcomes, and ensuring every pupil benefits from a high-quality, knowledge-rich education. This senior system leadership role reports to the Director of Secondary Education and combines the following:
- Trust-wide leadership of curriculum design and implementation
- Strategic oversight of assessment, data and insight
- Coordination and delivery of school improvement activity
- Line management and alignment of subject and standards leadership
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of an ambitious, knowledge-rich and coherently sequenced curriculum across all schools
- Oversee the development of exceptional Trust-wide curriculum resources, defining the standard of teaching in every classroom
- Line manage and develop Trust Directors of Standards, driving subject excellence through collaborative practice
- Lead the Trust's approach to assessment, ensuring it supports learning and informs improvement
- Coordinate school improvement, deploying Trust expertise with clarity, precision and impact
- Work in close partnership with Headteachers and others to secure alignment, consistency and sustained improvement
