We are recruiting a Cinema Manager for a busy, high-profile city centre cinema. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

You will be responsible for leading a large team of around 45 people, many early in their careers. The role requires someone who can build strong team culture while confidently managing performance, standards and day-to-day operations.

This is not a first step into management. Previous supervisory or people management experience is essential - including driving and motivating large teams, cover monitoring KPIs and oversight of admins such as rotas, targets, P&L, and commercial indicators.

Key responsibilities:
  • Leading and motivating a large team in a fast-paced environment
  • Managing performance, including underperformance
  • Supporting delivery of targets, revenue and cost control
  • Managing rotas, attendance and staffing levels
  • Ensuring compliance across health & safety, fire safety, food safety and alcohol licensing
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness and presentation
About you:
  • Proven experience managing or supervising teams
  • Comfortable working at pace and leading from the floor
  • Confident handling performance conversations
  • Experience working to targets or KPIs
  • Reliable, committed and flexible to work early mornings, late nights and weekends
  • Cinema experience is not essential. Backgrounds in hospitality, retail, leisure or other high-volume environments are highly relevant.
