Due to the nature of this role, we are only able to consider candidates with proven HR Business Partner experience gained within large, multi-site retail or hospitality organisations (for example: retail, leisure, hospitality, QSR, or other high-volume, people-intensive environments). This role requires extensive, hands-on experience managing high-volume ER casework across multiple locations. Unfortunately, applicants without this background will not be progressed to interview.
We are partnering with a large, well-established multi-site organisation operating at real scale across the UK. This is a senior, operational HR Business Partner role supporting a complex, fast-moving workforce. You will work closely with operational leaders, acting as a true commercial partner while owning and delivering a heavy ER agenda across a large, dispersed employee population.
Key Responsibilities- Partnering with senior operational leaders across a large multi-site estate
- Managing high-volume, complex ER casework including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance and restructures
- Providing pragmatic, commercially-focused HR advice in a fast-paced environment
- Supporting leaders to drive engagement, performance and consistency across sites
- Contributing to wider people initiatives aligned to operational goals
- Proven HR Business Partner experience within large multi-site retail or hospitality groups
- Deep, practical experience handling volume ER casework in operational environments
- Comfortable working at pace, with confident stakeholder management skills
