A prestigious cinema chain seeks a dynamic and dedicated Cinema Manager to lead a vibrant team and create a profitable, customer-first entertainment destination. Due to the location, you'll need to be a driver - some shifts will finish at 3am (no public transport).
Key Details:
- Role: Cinema Manager – hands-on management including rostering, payroll, budgets, stock control, sales, and compliance training.
- Team Structure: Reporting to General Manager, alongside 1 other Cinema Managers, 2-3 Team Leaders, overseeing 35-40 employees.
- Shifts can finish as late as 3am and start as early as 8am.
Ideal Experience:
- Background in retail, hospitality, leisure venues, or similar industries; proven experience managing teams, employee relations, food hygiene audits, and bar compliance.
Salary & Benefits:
- 29-31.5k, 5% pension scheme, 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) plus discretionary additional days (up to 5), plus unlimited film viewings for yourself + friends and family allowance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team. Set individual objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure the team meets the cinema's goals.
- Customer Service: Promote a friendly and helpful environment. Address customer complaints professionally and promptly, ensuring a high standard of service.
- Operational Efficiency: Manage resources effectively, from staff rotas to building maintenance. Ensure all IT and digital equipment is maintained and any issues are promptly resolved.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure the cinema complies with all legal requirements, company policies, and safety procedures. Conduct regular screen checks and adhere to fire safety and health regulations.
- Retail Management: Oversee stock management and merchandising to maximise sales. Ensure the retail offer is maintained to company standards and meets customer expectations.
- Shift Management: Run Duty Manager shifts, ensuring the cinema operates smoothly and all centrally driven initiatives are implemented effectively.
