Maternity Cover | 12–14 months London (hybrid, 2 days/week in SE1)
This is a role for someone who is commercially sharp, outbound by nature, and passionate about making a difference. Our client is a social mobility organisation with serious commercial ambition, working with 25+ major UK employers to open doors for underrepresented young people. Last year they supported over 40,000 people into their next career step. They are growing fast and need an experienced Account Executive to help drive that growth. This is a 14-month maternity cover contract, with the possibility of staying on for the right person.
What you need to know going in: this is not a role with a large inbound pipeline or a marketing team generating leads. You will be hunting — cold outreach, events, LinkedIn, referrals — while managing and growing an existing portfolio of Tech & Digital employer partnerships. If you build your own pipeline and thrive on it, this could be a brilliant fit.
What you will be doing:
- You will manage renewals and growth across an existing portfolio of corporate employer partners in the Tech & Digital space, while driving new business across Tech, Professional Services and Financial Services.
- You will own your numbers, manage your pipeline, and be a visible external presence in the market, at events, on LinkedIn and in the room with senior decision makers at major organisations.
What they are looking for:
- Solid AE or commercial experience — you have managed accounts, hit targets and won new business through a consultative process.
- A genuinely outbound mindset — cold outreach doesn’t faze you and pipeline building is second nature.
- Experience selling into or managing relationships with large corporate organisations.
- Knowledge of and passion for the early careers, social impact or employability space.
- Outgoing, confident and comfortable being visible externally.
- Resilient, collaborative and comfortable with pace.
What’s on offer:
- £50–55,000 base salary + commission.
- Reduced Friday hours.
- Christmas and Summer team parties.
- The possibility of a permanent role.
Our client is an equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive team. They welcome applications from all backgrounds.
