Do you come from the early careers, employability or social impact world — and have you also developed the commercial skills to sell into large corporate organisations? If so, this could be a really interesting role for you. Our client is an award-winning social mobility organisation working with some of the UK’s largest employers to connect underrepresented young people with career opportunities. Last year they supported over 40,000 people to take their next career step. They’re growing fast, and they need someone who understands their world and can help them grow within it commercially.

This is a maternity cover contract of 12–14 months, with the potential to become permanent subject to budget. They’re looking for someone who is genuinely excited by that possibility and open to it — but they will be completely transparent from the outset.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of Tech & Digital employer partners — renewing contracts, deepening relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow.
  • You’ll also play a key role in driving new business, bringing in new corporate partners from across the Tech, Professional Services and Financial Services sectors.
  • At the heart of this role is our client’s flagship cross-sector work experience programme, which launched in 2025 and is scaling fast. You’ll be central to that commercial growth.
  • Day to day you’ll be managing a pipeline, working to revenue targets, building your profile on LinkedIn and at events, and working collaboratively with the wider delivery team.

What they’re looking for

  • A background in early careers, employability, social impact or a closely related field — you understand this world and are passionate about it.
  • Commercial experience — you’ve sold into or managed relationships with large corporate organisations, ideally within Tech, Professional Services or Financial Services.
  • Evidence of both managing and growing existing accounts and bringing in new business through a consultative sales process.
  • Comfortable working to and hitting revenue targets.
  • Gregarious, outgoing and happy to be a visible external presence — on LinkedIn, at events and in the market.
  • Collaborative by nature — you work well across teams and bring people with you.
  • Resilient and energised by a fast-paced environment.

What’s on offer

  • £50–55,000 base salary + healthy achievable OTE.
  • Reduced Friday hours.
  • Christmas and Summer team parties.
  • The genuine possibility of a permanent role for the right person.

Our client is an equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive team. They welcome applications from all backgrounds.
