A well-established organisation is seeking a technically minded and proactive Ad Operations Manager to join their Marketing team. This role is essential to the smooth and accurate delivery of digital advertising campaigns — blending hands-on execution with data collaboration and commercial insight.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of digital ad campaigns including trafficking, setup, QA, optimisation, and reporting.
- Platform responsibility across Google Ads, Meta, DV360 and others, with confidence in ad tech implementation.
- Oversight of tracking and tagging using Google Tag Manager and server-side solutions.
- Cross-functional collaboration with data and engineering teams to ensure clean and insightful performance data.
- Proactive troubleshooting of delivery or tracking issues, with an eye for gaps and inconsistencies.
- Contribution to the ongoing evolution of processes, tools, and best practices in digital advertising.
Working Relationships
- Reporting to the Head of Performance Marketing.
- Regular interaction with internal channel specialists, data teams, and third-party vendors.
- Acts as the key point of contact for ad operations across the team.
Candidate Profile
- Be confident using Google Tag Manager, ad servers like Campaign Manager, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, and Tableau.
- Have a strategic understanding of the customer journey and be able to identify and address tracking gaps with commercial awareness.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Bring a collaborative mindset with a drive for continuous learning and technical improvement.
- Experience in programmatic campaign management (DV360 or similar) and re-commerce or marketplace environments is desirable but not essential.
