THE ROLE
We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Performance Manager to lead paid media strategy and execution across our client portfolio. As Senior Performance Manager, you will own campaign management across Meta and Google, set the standard for how AC approaches performance marketing, and provide direction to junior paid media specialists. This is a client‑facing, execution‑led role — you will report directly to the Head of AC Digital and work closely with Head of Performance, Paid Media Specialists and Web teams.
Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end paid media management across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google (Search, Shopping, PMax) for AC Digital brand clients.
- Lead and quality‑control the work of paid media specialists, providing strategic direction, creative briefing guidance, and campaign‑level oversight.
- Drive the creative testing framework: briefing, evaluation, and scaling of winning creatives across the funnel (ABO engagement, creative testing, CBO challenger vs. champion).
- Manage and optimise product feed quality in coordination with AC's feed management tooling, ensuring accurate distribution to Google Merchant Centre, Meta Catalogue, and additional channels (TikTok, Pinterest, Bing) as budgets scale.
- Build and maintain bespoke client performance dashboards (daily trackers, MTD reviews, spend vs. target reporting).
- Contribute to monthly and 6‑month cost/revenue forecasts per client; provide strategic input on channel mix, budget allocation, and audience strategy based on brand lifecycle stage (Fundamentals / Core / Scale tiers).
- Collaborate with the email marketing and Shopify web teams to ensure full‑funnel coherence; lead client‑facing strategy calls and monthly performance reviews.
- Trend monitoring: stay up to date with industry changes, platform updates, and creative trends to bring fresh thinking to the team.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of paid media experience in an agency or in‑house DTC environment, with verifiable management of Meta and Google Ads (ideally premium/luxury fashion/beauty/lifestyle).
- Prior experience mentoring or directing junior team members.
- Demonstrated ability to manage £5k–£100k+ monthly ad spend across multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and Google Merchant Centre.
- Experience with product‑feed management tools (e.g. DataFeedWatch, Shoptimised, Feedoptimised or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of Klaviyo or comparable ESP in the context of paid/owned integration.
- Familiarity with Shopify as an ecommerce platform (ability to interpret store‑level data; dev skills not required).
- Comfortable building and interpreting performance dashboards (Looker Studio or equivalent).
- Strong grasp of DTC metrics: COS, MER, CPA, LTV, ROAS, blended contribution.
NICE TO HAVE
- Prior experience working with fashion, beauty, or premium lifestyle brands.
- Exposure to market‑specific platforms: TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, Bing, Snapchat & Pinterest ads experience (or desire to learn).
- Ecommerce platform experience (Shopify, Shopify Plus).
- Feed management tool experience (DataFeedWatch, Shoptimised, Feedoptimised).
- Data connector experience (Supermetrics, Funnel.io, Big Query).
- Klaviyo partner certification or equivalent CRM platform knowledge.
- Meta Blueprint and/or Google Ads certifications.
Who You Are
- Passionate About Ownership: Energised by seeing ideas through from concept to launch.
- Data‑Driven Decision Maker: Confident using data insights to back instincts and refine strategy.
- Adaptable Team Player: Capable of working solo on projects or as an integral team player.
- Detail‑Oriented: You bring a meticulous approach.
- Master Multi‑Tasker: Juggling multiple projects excites you and motivates you daily.
- Innovative Thinker: Driven to test, optimise, and explore new methods and processes in Paid Media.
