Position Overview Responsible for the selection, coordination and installation of all decorative elements for Ralph Lauren Architecture and Design Studio. Collaborates with the Ralph Lauren Architecture and Design Studio team to curate, coordinate, and implement decorative elements that bring our brand vision to life across retail spaces, while demonstrating functional expertise in design and project management. This position supports the Ralph Lauren vision by creating inspiring retail environments while maintaining operational excellence.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and present innovative design concepts through inspiration boards
- Research, source, and select decorative elements that align with brand aesthetic
- Manage decorative items lifecycle from procurement through installation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architecture, store design, merchandising, and visual teams
- Maintain comprehensive archives of decorative materials and project specifications
- Lead new store decorative installations and renovation projects
- Develop and oversee project budgets
- Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective solutions
Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
- Interior design background through education and/or relevant work experience
- Minimum 3 full strategic performance cycles experience in interior design or store development luxury retail or high-end residential
- Strong organizational and proactive project management capabilities
- Technical proficiency in: Architectural/construction drawing interpretation, Space planning and layout visualization, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and/or SketchUp (preferred)
Demonstrated ability to:
- Lead multiple projects in a dynamic environment
- Source and evaluate decorative elements
- Manage budgets effectively
