We are seeking an Assistant Category Manager to join our dynamic team, partnering closely with our Marketing function to drive optimum commercial outcomes and contribute directly to Burberry's P&L. This role offers the opportunity to work on strategic projects and day-to-day activities across Marketing categories, collaborating with stakeholders in London, Leeds, and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Support category management and procurement processes to elevate our global capability.
- Execute sourcing events, supplier onboarding, and contract management with precision and integrity.
- Deliver data-driven insights through spend analysis and category planning.
- Collaborate with Legal and internal teams to ensure robust supplier relationships and quality contracts.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, lifting procurement activities to best-in-class standards.
Personal Profile:
- 3-5 years' experience in commercial procurement or strategic sourcing.
- A confident communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, evolving environment with a positive, proactive approach.
- Skilled in Excel, reporting, and presenting insights that drive decisions.
