Following rapid growth across e-commerce and retail, we are strengthening our finance function to support the next stage of scale.
The Role
- Take ownership of day‑to‑day financial control while helping build scalable processes and reporting frameworks.
Financial Control and Reporting
- Oversee monthly management accounts preparation and close process.
- Ensure accuracy of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
- Maintain strong financial controls and accounting processes.
- Manage external accountants and bookkeeping functions.
- VAT oversight and compliance.
Cash Flow and Working Capital
- Weekly cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Support inventory and margin visibility across channels.
- Monitor payment terms, supplier exposure and financing facilities.
Commercial Finance Support
- Provide financial insight to support trading and growth decisions.
- Margin analysis across wholesale, retail and e-commerce channels.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting cycles.
- Assist with board and investor reporting preparation.
Process and Systems
- Improve financial reporting structure and automation.
- Help implement scalable finance processes suitable for growth.
- Work cross‑functionally with operations, merchandising and leadership.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Previous Financial Controller or senior finance role in a scaling SME or consumer brand.
- Experience in fashion, retail, e‑commerce or inventory‑led businesses preferred.
- Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable operating in a founder‑led, fast‑moving environment.
- Hands‑on and pragmatic, willing to both build and execute.
