Job Purpose Burberry is looking for a talented Communications Coordinator for the EMEIA region to join the Marketing team. You will take a lead role in executing and driving key communication strategies across the UK and priority EMEIA markets (France, Italy, UAE). This role requires strong leadership in pitching, securing media coverage, and managing the press office functions in collaboration with internal teams and external PR agencies in Paris, Milan, and Dubai. You will be integral in supporting the development of regional communication strategies and ensuring a cohesive, impactful press presence across all markets. The role also focuses on strategic product mapping, asset management, and optimising press engagement. Responsibilities Lead pitching and securing media coverage across key markets in the EMEIA region, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure consistent brand messaging. Assist the Senior Communications Manager in developing and implementing regional communication strategies, ensuring alignment with global objectives. Drive strategic product mapping by collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between product launches and press outreach. Support the development and execution of seasonal communications strategies for new collections, ad campaigns, and other key marketing activations, ensuring regional alignment and execution excellence. Oversee the management of sample logistics, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies across EMEIA to ensure timely delivery and efficient management for editorial and wholesale projects. Monitor daily media coverage across the UK and key EMEIA markets (print, digital, and social), compiling detailed reports and performance analysis for global and regional teams. Assist in managing seasonal press gifting ensuring all assets are delivered effectively to the right media contacts. Lead communications and press logistics for major brand activations, such as seasonal Runway Shows, in collaboration with EMEIA‑wide PR agencies, ensuring smooth execution of media outreach and press coverage. Provide administrative support for the day‑to‑day operations of the UK Press Office and EMEIA markets. Support the Senior Communications Manager in the implementation of key internal processes, such as database management, press release coordination, and media monitoring systems. Personal Profile 3‑5 years of experience in fashion or luxury PR, with exposure to both global and regional communications strategies. Proven ability to lead media outreach efforts, including pitching, securing coverage, and managing press relationships across key fashion markets. Strong understanding of the luxury fashion industry, with an ability to communicate brand stories and key messages to various media outlets. Experience with strategic product mapping, ensuring alignment between product launches and communications campaigns. Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different time zones and markets. Proactive and flexible, with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and changes in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Strong knowledge of the UK and EMEIA media landscape, with a growing understanding of regional differences and cultural nuances. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing press materials, reports, and engaging with media contacts at all levels. Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., French, Italian, Arabic) are a plus.
