We are hiring an Internal Audit Manager to join our Global Audit Team in London. This role strengthens Burberry's governance by providing clear, independent assurance across every area of our business. You will help shape how we manage risk, protect our brand, and support confident decision-making. It is an opportunity to work with purpose, craft, and rigour in a team that partners closely with leaders across the organisation.
Responsibilities- Assess business objectives, risks, and controls to deliver insightful, well-evidenced audit work across global operations.
- Design and carry out testing to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and document results to a high professional standard.
- Prepare clear audit reports, highlighting findings and recommendations, and ensure progress and insights are shared with stakeholders.
- Engage with steering groups and senior partners to stay close to emerging risks and business developments.
- Follow up on actions and collaborate with teams to support timely remediation and a "no surprises" audit experience.
- Professional audit or accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA, IIA).
- Experience delivering risk-based audits across operational or financial processes, ideally within complex organisations.
- Strong analytical judgement, written clarity, and an ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
- Comfortable working with changing priorities and able to manage multiple reviews with care and precision.
- Knowledge of business processes, risk principles and IT general controls; experience with SAP or retail environments is beneficial.
