Key Responsibilities

Customer Focus

  • Demonstrate that the customer is key and provide impeccable customer service.
  • Greet and acknowledge a customer on entry to the store, be polite and courteous, and maintain contact throughout their visit.
  • Engage with the customer to understand their needs and provide appropriate help and support to ensure an impeccable customer experience.
  • Develop excellent knowledge of up-to-date products and selling points to promote product benefits.
  • Provide advice and guidance to customers on products and services to meet their expectations.
  • Escalate customer requests or problems to ensure resolution in line with company standards.
  • Live and breathe the seven Hackett values.

Achieve Results

  • Achieve personal and store sales targets.
  • Understand store KPIs and how to influence them.
  • Be aware of Brand image and Competitors.
  • Be proactive in ideas for increasing sales.
  • Use mailing cards and brochures to attract and retain customers.
  • Be fully aware of in-store services such as alterations, bespoke services, made-to-order, click and collect, etc.
  • Be aware of best sellers and suggest complementary purchases (cross-selling and up-selling).
  • Carry out sales transactions correctly and efficiently.
  • Assist, advise and help train other staff.

Store and Stock Standards

  • Constantly replenish product on the shop floor to meet visual merchandising standards.
  • Reduce stock loss by awareness and prevention techniques.
  • Maintain high standards of personal dress and appearance, presenting a professional, smart and tidy appearance.
  • Complete any other tasks as required by the changing needs of the business.
  • Be a good ambassador for the brand and develop good relationships with management and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of company stock loss expectations and ensure sales transactions are carried out efficiently and accurately.

Required Experience

  • Passion for the fashion industry.
  • Proven experience in clothing retail, preferably in the premium or luxury sector.
  • Impeccable customer service skills.
