As a Hire Controller at our Customer Contact Centre (CCC) in Stockport, you will have a versatile and varied role liaising with the sales team and other functions to ensure prompt, efficient and reliable service delivery for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with customers to fulfil equipment orders over the telephone and via email
  • Processing equipment hire, ensuring the correct administration is carried out
  • Communicating with external re-hire companies to source equipment
  • Dealing with invoice queries, chasing collections and managing damages
  • Managing on and off-hires, collections and breakdowns
  • Liaising with our sales team, suppliers and depot network to ensure excellent customer service for our customers
  • Utilising our internal systems to ensure correct administration of the hire

Your Profile

  • IT literate and experienced in using Windows applications.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Friendly with a courteous telephone manner.
  • A strong team player who enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of plant machinery and small tools is preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
