At Boeing Defence United Kingdom (BDUK) we need a Support Integration Specialist to support Vertical Lift Boeing product platforms and the Service Improvement Activity. The role is part of the Product Support Engineering Department, which includes Reliability Centred Maintenance Analysis, Reliability and Maintainability, Logistic Support Analysis, Engineering Data Exploitation, Obsolescence Management, Technical Publications and Product Support Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Product Support Focal point in a multidisciplinary Service Improvement Team, approved and supported by the MoD.
  • Deliver sustained Product Support recommendations as the interface into a combined Data Exploitation and Continuous Improvement Team.
  • Integrate directly with the UK MoD Customer and broader business units in solution development, liaising with BDUK and Boeing USA.
  • Support the identification and targeting of improvement areas by co‑hering applicable data sources and preparing Business Cases for approval.
  • Progress Continuous Improvement initiatives using Data Exploitation inputs to analyse, identify and compare efficiency improvements, utilizing RCM, R&M, FI/FRAcs and related systems.
  • Work across Vertical Lift programmes, identify business development opportunities and contribute to engineering excellence.
  • Support company initiatives such as quality improvements, safety culture, diversity and inclusion, mentoring, coaching, STEM outreach and focused projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain UK SC security clearance.
  • Ability to justify change based on data analysis and sound engineering principles.
  • Experience leading and presenting proposals to senior leadership and customer representatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree level education in a relevant STEM subject.
  • Understanding of Support Engineering in a military environment.
  • Knowledge of digital systems and analysis.
  • Technical knowledge of the CH‑47 & AH‑64 platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Registered with the UK Engineering Council at the IEng or CEng level or in progress.
