Project Engineering Intern 2026 - 12 Months Placement

Help us shape the future of commercial aircraft modification in our Boeing Global Services (BGS) EASA Modifications IPT (Integrated Project Team). We are looking for an Intern to support the Project Engineering team lead the modification programs in driving safety, quality and technical excellence using innovation and best practices to deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. We are looking for people who can work out of Frimley (UK).
The successful candidate will be an integral part of our modification teams who develop, certify and integrate commercial aircraft modification solutions such as cabin interior changes, IFE upgrades and other changes. The candidate will be working directly with Project Engineers, while collaborating with BGS Global Engineering and Programme Management teams across multiple time-zones.
Position Responsibilities
- Support the technical teams who are designing and certifying aircraft modifications
- Support the primary technical focal in assigned modification projects
- Identify and report key technical risks and mitigation strategies to the Lead Project Engineer
- Support project milestone meetings e.g. ITCM, PDR and CDR meetings
- Support technical review meetings
Preferred Knowledge/Experience
- Studying a recognized aeronautical or engineering degree, however other internationally recognized aeronautical qualifications will be considered
- Must be fluent in English both written and spoken
