Boeing Defence UK is looking for a Network Administrator to support various technical requirements within a busy IT Infrastructure team. The role will involve contributing to the delivery of projects and sustainment within a demanding environment supporting Boeing Defence UK operations. The position is hybrid, with an expectation to work from many of our sites two or three days per week.

You will be involved in project activities, hardware and software installation, daily support, configuration and disposition of servers and networks. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for delivering outcomes for various requests that present themselves to the network team. You will be comfortable and professional whether on the phone or hands‑on at a desk within any of the sites we support, providing first‑rate service and genuinely enjoying solving IT issues for colleagues at all levels.

The role offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to grow their skills and become a vital team member within both BDUK and the global teams we work with.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Continuously look for improvements to ensure services operated are aligned to industry best practice and Boeing enterprise best practices.
  • Respond to events, requests and incidents logged in management systems.
  • Perform analysis of log files, systems, and network traffic.
  • Work to well‑defined SLAs.
