Responsibilities

  • As the E‑7 Technical Records Specialist you are responsible to the Mil CAM via the E‑7 DCAM for managing the paper airworthiness records IAW applicable regulations. This includes storage, archiving, disposal, quarantining and availability of paper records produced during the acceptance, maintenance, operational and airworthiness reviews, and any other areas as requested by Mil CAM is carried out in a robust manner.
  • Additionally, you’ll carry out QA checks on aircraft maintenance documentation providing Mil CAM confidence that maintenance records are correctly completed IAW governing statutory requirements, applicable regulations, and applicable organisation’s instructions, ensuring they accurately reflect work carried out, both scheduled and arising.
  • In your role, you shall:
  • Form part of ISTAR Air Wing Engineering (Lossiemouth) (IAWE (L)) Core Mil CAMO.
  • Support the development and improvement of continuing airworthiness processes.
  • Work with the MMO and AMO Docs Controllers to ensure a seamless, robust document control from Maintenance Execution through to archiving.
  • Record management – Storage, archiving, disposal, quarantine.
  • QA checks on aircraft maintenance documentation.
  • Support BDUK and E‑7 CAMO Internal and External Quality Assurance Audits.

Aside from your technical work there is the potential to support company initiatives, for example, quality improvements, promoting a safety culture, promoting Diversity and Inclusion, mentoring and coaching, STEM outreach and a number of focus projects to support the growth of the company and its employees.

Basic Qualifications (Skills / Experience)

  • Able to obtain UK SC security clearance
  • A clear communicator with a can‑do attitude who has the drive, commitment and passion to continuously improve the quality of service
  • Proven ability to drive first time quality
  • Human Factors & Error Management Continuation Training
  • TR75: CAM Skills for a Defence CAMO
  • TT08: Understanding Defence CAMO Regulations
  • LIS (GOLDesp) Training
  • ASIMS User Training
  • Resolve User Training

Preferred Qualifications (Skills / Experience)

  • Aircraft Exit/Entry Training
  • EWIS Training
  • Engineering Degree qualified
