The Boeing Company’s Global Security team is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated leader to manage Global Badging Operations. Leading a team of badging operators in the UK, India, Singapore and providing governance and operational support to Australia and Canada. Operating from Heathrow, London they will lead a team of specialists within Global Security Services.
The candidate will have held a supervisory position, be familiar with badging processes and essential compliance criteria e.g. Privacy, ITAR. Recent experience with badging and visitor management across a dispersed business environment is essential.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage and integrate a team of 5 direct reports delivering global badging services for all locations outside the US.
- Proactively support and participate with US-based colleagues in the new global visitor management system project and provide input on international process.
- Ensure that resilience and business continuity measures are embedded in all global badging offices and flag risks to GSA leadership accordingly.
- Maintain currency with all Boeing and Host Nation Data Protection/Security policies, and prevailing standards and industry best practices.
- Plan staffing levels to accommodate the program of activities.
- Develop governance arrangements in conjunction with the Enterprise, to include a regime of internal compliance and standardisation activities to ensure the quality and consistency of service across all international badging offices.
- Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures including quality and safety.
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
- Build and execute cross-functional partnerships and implement solutions in line with the ASCENT strategy.
- Support the expansion of badging operations associated with global business growth.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Proficiency with IT systems and an aptitude for exploiting technology solutions for process efficiency is highly desirable.
- Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
- High proficiency in the use of MS 365 applications and the ability to quickly learn new applications is highly desirable.
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks while functioning in a fast paced environment.
