Boeing Commercial Aviation Services Europe Limited is looking for a Technical/Aerospace/Engineering graduate with an aptitude or interest in Technical Illustrations or a person with similar work experience to fulfill the role of Entry level Technical Illustrator within our Maintenance Engineering team.
The candidate will have an ability to conceptualize and create both general and detailed illustration views that support a wide variety of technical data products.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Welwyn Garden City. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Position Responsibilities:

Conducting research and analysis of engineering data, designing changes and other data sources to create Illustrations to a high-quality standard

Creating isometric, orthographic and perspective illustrations, wiring diagrams, and schematics for technical data products

Ensuring product compliance with organizational standards and specifications

Collaborating with other Illustrators and authoring teams to ensure the end product is what is required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Ability to use the following software: Isodraw, Adobe Illustrator, Autocad, and/or Photoshop, or equivalents
Full training in the use of the software and processes required will be given to the selected candidate.
If available – we would like to see some examples of Illustration work from previous roles.
