Engineering Graduate – Rotational Graduate Programme 2026

Starting in 2026, the two-year scheme will see the successful applicants undertake four six-month placements across a number of key disciplines, in different UK locations. The scheme provides a diverse range of areas fundamental to understanding successful Engineering roles within Boeing, with emphasis on learning in the workplace through live projects, multi-team work, and theoretical learning supported by colleagues and the Early Careers team.
Rotations may involve working in the following areas:
- Technical/Testing Services. While in placement with the Aircraft Modification Team, you will be compiling engineering accomplishment documentation, drawings and instructions for continued airworthiness.
- Experimentation and Analysis. Exposure to modelling, simulation and analysis facilities to support customer needs in defence and security, and BDUK programmes.
- Training Engineering. Supports innovative training solutions including synthetic training equipment and courseware.
- Structures and Build. Leverages technical knowledge and continuous improvement to provide safe and reliable solutions.
- Systems Engineering. Collaborates across the full breadth of engineering functions to deliver products through their lifecycle.
- Mission Systems. Utilises model-based systems engineering techniques for product analysis and first-time quality.
- Service Engineering. Provides on-site technical support and maintenance for platform components.
- Support Engineering. Interacts with multiple teams as part of evidence gathering and reported conclusions in written form.
- Mission Assurance. Ensures safety, airworthiness and environmental compliance of Boeing products and services.
- Quality Engineering. Ensures best practice across Engineering in BDUK to achieve high standards.
- Industrial Engineering. Develops and evaluates processes to optimize operational efficiency in modification and maintenance programmes.

Essential Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Right to work in UK – We do not sponsor applicants for employment visa status or renewal of visas during employment
- Studying a degree course or have graduated a degree course within last 2 years
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Qualified to degree level in aeronautical, mechanical, electrical engineering or similar technical degree
- Confidence or willingness to present and host meetings
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to discuss ideas with stakeholders of all levels
- Forward-thinking mindset and self-motivation
- Effective communication skills
Additional Information
- The successful candidate will be expected to undergo an Intrusive Security Clearance Process, which will require 5 years of uninterrupted residency in the UK prior to applying.
