Boeing Global Services IT is currently seeking an experienced IT Business Partner (ITBP) to join our team in Belfast, UK. This role primarily focuses on partnering closely with business leaders and functions by delivering Digital Solutions that drive business success. The ITBP acts as a trusted advisor to business line executives and managers, ensuring seamless execution of current contracts and alignment of IT initiatives with business needs.
In addition to the core IT Business Partner responsibilities, this role also involves overseeing related IT projects and programmes to ensure timely, high-quality delivery aligned with strategic objectives. Working closely with performing organizations, the ITBP will help prioritise statements of work, and deliveries to the business, on time and with first time quality.
Role Responsibilities:
- Serves as a key liaison between the business or function, to understand priorities and needs, developing strategies to ensure business objectives are met.
- Collaborates directly with business or function to understand problems or initiatives and represents the business or function within Boeing IT to engage the right resources, explores alternatives and help deploy the right solution with first time quality.
- Develops and executes communication plans, including status to leadership and to business or function stakeholders.
- Identifies risks and impacts and coordinates with business or function to approve mitigation plans or changes to commitments.
- Provides input and lessons learned on IT processes, procedures, tools and techniques, and ensures alignment to quality management solutions for the business or function.
- Coordinate and influence cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, analysts, and vendors to deliver business outcomes.

- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business processes and industry trends. Ability to translate business needs into IT requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience managing relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement IT strategies that support business objectives. Experience in change management and driving digital transformation initiatives.
- Project and Portfolio Management: Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/SAFe, Waterfall).
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and emerging technologies. Ability to evaluate technology solutions and their impact on business.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Experience with data analysis and performance metrics.
- Negotiation and Influence: Ability to negotiate with vendors and internal stakeholders. Skilled in influencing without direct authority.
- Business Partnering: Proven experience as an IT Business Partner or similar role. 8 to 10 years of working closely with business units to deliver IT-enabled business outcomes.
- Change Management: Leading or supporting organizational change initiatives.
- Project Delivery: Successful delivery of IT projects that meet business requirements. Experience managing budgets and resources.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working effectively with diverse teams.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks related to IT projects and business operations.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Extensive IT experience.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
