Boeing is looking for a Defense Procurement Financial Analyst (PFA)–Cost Analyst (Experienced or Senior) located in Berkeley, MO. As a part of the Defense PFA team, you would support the development of the negotiation positions for the procurement of goods and services by conducting cost/price analysis of supplier proposals. PFAs provide support for the U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sale (FMS), and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) type contracts across multiple programs and platforms. Quantitative and statistical methods are used to correlate, compile and analyze supplier cost and non-cost data.
Position Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex supplier proposals to determine a fair and reasonable price position
- Conduct complex cost/price analyses using statistical tools, market trend data and parametric models
- Substantiate cost estimates and lead supplier and customer negotiations
- Foster cross functional collaboration with Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements
- Develop and improve cost analysis templates and tools
- Demonstrate communication and presentation skills needed
- Provide support for travel if needed
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- 3+ years of experience in a business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of direct experience in estimating, procurement, or project/program management
- Experience in Procurement Financial Analysis with strong finance analytics background
- Experience reviewing and developing procurement strategies
- Experience with and/or exposure to supplier related data
- Experience in coaching and mentoring
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance

Summary pay range (Experienced, Level 3): $84,150 – $113,850
Summary pay range (Senior, Level 4): $106,250 – $143,750
Summary pay range (Senior, Level 5): $134,300 – $181,700
