As a Customer Support Specialist, You Will:
- Provide internal customer support for the sale of consumables in the aviation industry.
- Manage an international customer base from order receipt through to payment, ensuring the fulfilment of agreed services.
- Coordinate responses to customer inquiries regarding spare parts requirements and facilitate the resolution of delivery issues.
- Oversee the collection and processing of supplier and customer data related to the delivery of spare parts, provisioning products, or related services.
- Enter, track, monitor, and coordinate customer material, delivery requirements, and returns for customer orders.
- Ensure timely order processing and administration, including regular deadline monitoring in daily coordination with the materials management and shipping departments to guarantee on-time deliveries.
- Communicate regularly with customers regarding the status of their orders, coordinate any potential changes, and provide updates on delivery timelines.
- Monitor returns and handle complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and enhance customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the system.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Should Have:
- Ideally, some initial professional experience in customer service within the aviation sector and/or wholesale.
- A passion for daily customer interaction and the ability to work independently.
- Strong practical English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Initial experience with SAP (preferably SAP HANA) or other ERP systems would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer service.
