We’re looking for a dynamic Import and Export Coordinator to lead and support the UK Operations in building a world‑class Import/Export Compliance Program. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping how we move products across borders—safely, efficiently, and compliantly.

Key Requirements
- Regulatory Expertise: Maintain a solid working knowledge of import and export laws and regulations. Confidently communicate updates—including changes to sanctions, classifications, and compliance requirements—to relevant stakeholders across the business, highlighting potential impacts on operations.
- Training & Awareness: Support the development and delivery of a tailored training program covering key areas such as import/export controls, Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) standards, risk identification, escalation procedures, and general compliance awareness.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments and corporate teams to ensure alignment with AEO guidelines. This includes managing commodity codes, country of origin data, SPL screening, contractual obligations, and security checks—all conducted in full compliance with regulatory standards.
- Compliance Documentation: Help maintain a country‑specific import/export matrix detailing classifications, licensing requirements, and shipment restrictions. Ensure accurate and timely filing of all documentation related to UK import/export operations.
- Process & SOP Management: Create and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and working instructions to reflect current practices and regulatory requirements.
- Broker Coordination & Audits: Liaise with customs brokers to facilitate the clearance of UK‑produced goods, raw materials, and equipment. Provide documented feedback on operational and compliance matters, and conduct post‑entry audits of import/export shipments.
- Logistics Support: Assist with logistics activities including vehicle bookings, packing, and visual inspections of consignments prior to dispatch. This includes routine antigen shipments and complex biohazardous goods (e.g., UN2900), ensuring all movements are compliant and secure.

- Strong Microsoft Office skills and fluent English
