Northern Ireland Territory Manager (Pet)

THE POSITION

As a Territory Manager within our Irish Pet team, you will identify and develop opportunities across the territory to support sales growth, working with wider teams to deliver objectives set out in the territory plan. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders and confidently lead both strategic business and clinical discussions with customers when exploring new opportunities. The role is primarily based on face-to-face customer interactions, with virtual engagement used where appropriate to meet customer needs.

Please note that this is a limited-term role for one year.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets through a strategic territory plan focused on customer segmentation and targeting.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and engagement, promoting the company, its products and activities across the marketplace.
• Identify new business opportunities by monitoring market trends, competitor products and customer needs, and incorporate these insights into the territory plan.
• Develop business relationships with key stakeholders and ensure a high level of support for, and awareness of, Boehringer Ingelheim products.
• Collaborate with the wider team to achieve profitable growth in targeted customer segments.

Requirements

• Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience.
• Commercial acumen, with business planning, territory planning and project management skills.
• Ability to use customer, market, product and competitor insights to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.
• Strong customer focus, with the ability to understand needs, tailor communication and engage effectively through face-to-face and virtual channels.
• Ability to build collaborative, long-term relationships with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders while delivering agreed targets.
