Installation & Service Engineer (Hybrid On-The-Road & Warehouse Role)
£645.55 per week, 45 hours, Weekly pay, Overtime available.
We are looking for a practical, reliable Installation & Service Engineer to join our friendly team at Fitness Superstore, the UK's leading fitness equipment specialist. This hybrid role combines on-the-road installation and servicing work with warehouse duties during quieter periods, giving you variety and stability throughout the year.
When working on the road, you'll start early at 05:00, with an approximate finish of 14:00-15:00 (this is traffic dependent). During warehouse periods, start times are later, typically 08:00-09:00, finishing around 17:00-18:00.
What You'll Receive:

Road-Based Responsibilities:
- Deliver, install, and service a wide range of fitness equipment (treadmills, multi-gyms, cross-trainers, cycles and more).
- Work in private homes and commercial premises across the UK.
- Represent the company professionally at every visit.
- Start at 05:00, Monday to Friday, with overtime available.
- During quieter periods, you'll support the warehouse team with a later start time.
Warehouse Responsibilities:
- Operating labour-saving equipment such as FLT, Bendi Truck.
- Using RF scanners to collate and put away goods and parts.
- Loading outbound vehicles.
- Receiving, checking, and preparing returned goods for stocking.
- Assembling or repairing returned items and showroom products.
- Packing and allocating goods and parts.
- Picking, replenishing of stock.
- Unload containers and lorries using mechanical handling equipment or manual teamwork.
What We're Looking For:
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items, including up and down stairs.
- Confident using hand tools, with an aptitude for assembling or repairing products (full training provided).
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Holder of a UK manual driving licence with at least 2 years driving experience (for insurance purposes).
- Smart, presentable, and comfortable interacting with customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to seeing tasks through.
- Counterbalance forklift licence preferred; Pivot Steer (Bendi/Flexi) is an advantage.
