Join us as a Store Manager at our Newcastle store earning a base salary of £32,000 per annum with an uncapped discretionary bonus scheme from day one. We are also offering the Store Manager role with the following benefits:
- Working hours of 36.5–43.5 per week.
- Alternate weekends and bank holidays may be required for retail sales roles.
- Store and individual incentive bonuses form a significant part of income (expected circa £6-7K+ pa on top of base salary).
- Pension scheme.
- Holiday entitlement is 29 days per annum (including statutory bank holidays).
- Personal use of in-store equipment after hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide an unsurpassed in-store experience for our customers.
- Sell high-quality fitness equipment face-to-face and over the phone and Live Chat.
- Achieve sales targets by analysing customer needs and making informed product recommendations.
- Provide all necessary information about products and apps to customers, demonstrating when necessary.
- Work with customer service and operations teams to ensure efficient customer solutions.
- Ensure the store maximises profitability and meets sales targets and KPIs with full accountability.
- Manage and motivate a team for continuous increase in sales and efficiency.
- Deal with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff and conducting performance reviews.
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.
- Inspire the team to do their best by being a role model and an example of their possible future with the company.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of management and sales experience.
- Ability to deliver targets and drive sales growth.
- Effective leadership and the ability to motivate others.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workloads and delegate accordingly.
- Customer focus.
