The role
Like all of our team at Bodylogics, our Physiotherapists are expected to provide unprecedented care and treatments, that go above and beyond that of any other clinics. Where patients WANT to return to us, and not just to feel that they have to. We want our Physiotherapists to help people and ensure everyone has access to the highest possible service/treatment to help them achieve whatever their goals are.
We want you to support us in changing the way healthcare is delivered by giving patients the skills they need to help get them better and offering gold standard care for every condition, using evidence-based treatments from day one.
Communication and developing caring relationships is key for this role. Not only internally but ensuring the highest standards of service are delivered to patients in a way that shows you have their wellbeing as the main priority, and they can confidently make the right decision about the plan of care/treatment that you are recommending. The result is to ensure that patients achieve their clinic and health / lifestyle outcomes in a time frame that you have set.
Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate exceptional knowledge and skills and show leadership to fellow employees.
- Monitoring the progress of patients and adjusting or changing treatments as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and care that will ensure that patients remain excited to return to the clinic for treatment and remain committed to the treatment plans that you recommend
- Ensure that general patient management is being adhered to in an efficient and productive manner including clinical notes are updated in a timely manner and accurate, setting expectations for letters and exercise plans
- Making good use of company integrations (such as physiapp) for the progress and well-being of patients
- Contribute to the accurate diagnosis and prognosis of injured patients and provide written, organised patient treatment and rehabilitation programmes.
- Liaising with other referring parties and healthcare professionals, such as Occupational Therapists and General Practitioners and referring patients as needed to ensure consistent care
- Supervising and guiding student and junior Physiotherapists (when required)
- To comply with all Bodylogics policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring that we consistently deliver to the highest expectations we have set ourselves
- To continually develop as a Physiotherapist and evidence continued professional development (CPD)
- Proactively attract returning and new client business to the clinic site, which should include leading corporate workshops, as prepared by yourself and the partnerships manager, to existing, new and prospective patients.
- Support the clinic’s Administration & Operations team in a timely and productive manner with any technical patient queries and service improvement developments
- Maintain the highest hygiene and cleanliness standards before, during and after each patient, as set out in the Bodylogics policies
- Proactively and effectively communicate with the team and managers ensuring that you are working in an organised manner
- Participate in and contribute to team meetings weekly
Qualifications & experience required:
- Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Full insurances
- Previous MSK experience in private practice setting (preferably in the London area)
- Excellent skills in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions
- Experience of planning and leading internal CPD sessions to be shared within the team
- ITEC level 3 sports massage and other qualifications beneficial
- Able to work autonomously, whilst adhering to Bodylogics exceptional high standard and processes
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written English skills
- Working knowledge Microsoft packages
