Established in 2009, with multiple London locations and onsite corporate presence, multi-award winning Bodylogics Health and Fitness Clinic has grown to become one of the leading Health and Fitness Clinics in London, specialising in pain management and musculoskeletal care through a wide range of interventions including Physiotherapy, Sports Massage Therapy and much more. The multi-award winning Bodylogics Health and Fitness Clinic was set up with the vision of providing exceptionally high levels of clinical treatment with outstanding expert care, and we are proud of our 100% 5* Google reviews left by our patients. We take great pride in what we do and continuously update our best practices to ensure we deliver the highest service possible.
We are now launching a dedicated podiatry service across our four North London clinics, and we are looking for an ambitious Lead Podiatrist to build, shape and grow it with us from the ground up.
This is a rare opportunity to lead and shape a brand new podiatry service across our four Bodylogics locations. You will not simply be joining an established rota; you will be helping to design the service, set the clinical standards, and grow it into a core part of what Bodylogics offers. As the service expands, so does your scope, your team and your influence.
Like everyone at Bodylogics, our Lead Podiatrist is expected to provide unprecedented care and treatment that goes above and beyond that of any other clinic, where patients want to return to us and not just feel that they have to. We want you to help people access the highest possible standard of care so they can achieve whatever their goals are, whether that is walking pain free, returning to sport, or managing a long term condition.
We want you to support us in changing the way healthcare is delivered by giving patients the skills and treatment they need to get better, offering gold standard, evidence-based podiatric care for every condition from day one. Communication and developing caring relationships is key to this role, not only internally but in ensuring the highest standards of service are delivered to patients in a way that shows their wellbeing is your main priority, so they can confidently make the right decision about the plan of care you recommend. The result is that patients achieve their clinical and lifestyle outcomes within a time frame that you have set.
Responsibilities include:
- Build, shape and grow the Bodylogics podiatry service across our four clinics, setting the clinical direction and standards as the service develops.
- Demonstrate exceptional podiatric knowledge and skills, and provide clinical leadership to the wider Bodylogics team.
- Deliver a full range of podiatric assessment and treatment, including biomechanical assessment, gait analysis, orthotic prescription, nail and skin care, and management of foot and lower limb conditions.
- Contribute to accurate diagnosis and prognosis, and provide written, organised patient treatment and rehabilitation programmes.
- Monitor the progress of patients and adjust or change treatment plans as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and care so patients remain excited to return to the clinic and stay committed to the treatment plans you recommend.
- Ensure general patient management is efficient and productive, including clinical notes updated in a timely and accurate manner, and clear expectations set for letters and treatment plans.
- Make good use of company systems and integrations for the progress and wellbeing of patients.
- Liaise with referring parties and other healthcare professionals, such as GPs, physiotherapists and consultants, and refer patients as needed to ensure consistent, joined up care.
- Work closely with our physiotherapy team to deliver a genuinely multidisciplinary service under one roof.
- Supervise, guide and, as the service grows, help recruit and develop junior podiatrists and support staff.
- Comply with all Bodylogics policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations, ensuring we consistently deliver to the highest expectations we have set ourselves.
- Continually develop as a Lead Podiatrist and evidence continued professional development (CPD).
- Proactively attract returning and new patients to the podiatry service, including leading corporate workshops prepared with the partnerships manager for existing, new and prospective patients.
- Support the Administration & Operations team in a timely and productive manner with technical patient queries and service improvement developments.
- Maintain the highest hygiene, cleanliness and infection control standards before, during and after each patient, in line with Bodylogics policies.
- Proactively and effectively communicate with the team and managers, working in an organised manner.
- Participate in and contribute to team meetings.
Qualifications & experience required:
- Degree in Podiatry (BSc or equivalent) and full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Membership of the Royal College of Podiatry (or equivalent professional body).
- Full professional insurances.
- Post-qualification clinical experience across a broad range of podiatric conditions, with the confidence to lead a service.
- Experience in biomechanical assessment and orthotic prescription (desirable).
- Local anaesthetic and/or nail surgery certification (desirable).
- Experience of planning and leading CPD sessions to be shared within the team (desirable).
- Able to work autonomously while adhering to Bodylogics' exceptionally high standards and processes.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine appetite to build and grow a service, not just deliver clinics.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
