We are looking to recruit an Quality Control Inspector to ensure that customer quality standards are maintained and instructions are carried out as agreed.
Main responsibilities:
- Certify customers work in accordance with the relevant requirements
- Carry out contract review on customers work
- Inspect customers work and attach relevant controlling documentation
- Release work in production
- Carry out first off / patrol inspection / final inspection
- Ensure all quality aspects of customer requirements are maintained
- Load & unload vehicles (using FLT when necessary)
- Book in components to ensure customer paperwork is in order
- Raise job cards / route cards
- Raise release notes & delivery notes
- Inspect own work to identify trends & maintain quality standards
- Maintain a tidy / safe work environment
Qualifications, experience and skills:
- Basic understanding of metal joining processes and metallurgy is desirable, with vocational qualification to level 3 preferred but other qualifications taken into account
Salary / package:
- Competitive salary
