As a Lab Inspector you’ll carry out metallurgical testing and quality inspections on heat‑treated components across aerospace, automotive and commercial sectors. You’ll take ownership of routine testing, compliance checks, and equipment maintenance, impacting product quality, customer satisfaction and the overall effectiveness of the site’s quality system.
Responsibilities
- Inspect components and test pieces, checking compliance with Quality Systems and customer specifications.
- Maintain daily check requirements on laboratory equipment and assist with internal and external quality audits.
- Record and report non‑conformances and liaise with production staff to coordinate release work.
- Implement quality procedures and ensure health, safety and environmental standards are followed while maintaining good housekeeping.
