The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

We are looking to recruit an Inspector to ensure compliance of inspected components to customer’s specification.

Main responsibilities:

  • Carry out accurate and efficient component inspection
  • Maintain component identification
  • Maintain inspection records
  • Liaison with production with regard to priorities and customer requirements
  • Ensure that any equipment used is within calibration and in good condition
  • Ensure that any specification used is the correct issue
  • Final release of customer product
  • Creating TDC/build sheets/loading plans
  • Periodic checks and calibrations
  • Hardness testing
  • Follow company health & safety procedures
  • Follow company environmental procedures
  • Comply with all quality system requirements
  • Maintain good working practices and housekeeping

Qualifications, experience and skills:

  • No formal qualifications required but evidence of good general education standard
  • Experience in the use of hardness testing equipment preferred
  • Experience in dimensional inspection preferred
  • Good eyesight (WI33)

Salary / package:

  • Competitive salary
