We are looking to recruit an Inspector to ensure compliance of inspected components to customer’s specification. Main responsibilities: Carry out accurate and efficient component inspection Maintain component identification Maintain inspection records Liaison with production with regard to priorities and customer requirements. Ensure that any equipment used is within calibration and in good condition Ensure that any specification used is the correct issue Final release of customer product Creating TDC/build sheets/loading plans Periodic checks and calibrations Hardness testing Follow company health & safety procedures Follow company environmental procedures. Comply with all quality system requirements. Maintain good working practices and housekeeping Qualifications, experience and skills: No formal qualifications required but evidence of good general education standard Experience in the use of hardness testing equipment preferred Experience in dimensional inspection preferred.
