The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
We are looking to recruit an Inspector to ensure compliance of inspected components to customer’s specification.
Main responsibilities:
- Carry out accurate and efficient component inspection
- Maintain component identification
- Maintain inspection records
- Liaison with production with regard to priorities and customer requirements
- Ensure that any equipment used is within calibration and in good condition
- Ensure that any specification used is the correct issue
- Final release of customer product
- Creating TDC/build sheets/loading plans
- Periodic checks and calibrations
- Hardness testing
- Follow company health & safety procedures
- Follow company environmental procedures
- Comply with all quality system requirements
- Maintain good working practices and housekeeping
Qualifications, experience and skills:
- No formal qualifications required but evidence of good general education standard
- Experience in the use of hardness testing equipment preferred
- Experience in dimensional inspection preferred
- Good eyesight (WI33)
Salary / package:
- Competitive salary
