Lead Coach at BODY20 is a “Player/Coach” position that leads from the front, working simultaneously with the Studio Manager to achieve Studio Goals in revenue and paying members. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt hourly position great for candidates looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Recruit and maintain a sufficient number of fitness coaches to service each member and guest that completes a BODY20 session or demo
  • Establish monthly goals in sessions, demos, and demo conversion for all fitness coaches
  • Conduct monthly evaluation of fitness coaches in sessions, demos serviced and demo conversion
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings
  • Onboard and train all new fitness coaches
  • Administer InBody evaluations and BODY20 sessions
  • Maintain knowledge and/or participation in all club services, programs, and products
  • Instruct and demonstrate to members the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques, including operating equipment and dynamically moving weight up to 50 pounds
  • Adjust and operate all EMS and fitness equipment to BODY20 standards

Qualifications

  • Current nationally recognized personal training certification (preferred)
  • CPR/AED certification (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of previous personal training experience (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Honesty and personal integrity
  • Passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry
  • Excellent time management, organizational and follow‑up skills
  • Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly
  • A passionate, positive, detail‑oriented person who can talk to anyone
  • Enjoys teamwork and wants to be part of a world‑class fitness company
  • Has an energetic approach, willing to engage in fun workouts (e.g., 80’s themed workout)

Essential Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position, which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching, as well as pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time.
