About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Personal Trainer to join our team on a self-employed basis. If you’re someone who thrives on helping clients achieve their fitness goals through tailored training and support, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll work 1:1 with clients, designing and delivering personalised training programmes that are both effective and engaging. At Body Works West, you'll be part of a small team of no more than 10 personal trainers, working in a supportive and professional environment. We’re proud of our lovely community of long-term members, many of whom have trained with us for years. It’s a great place to work, with a positive atmosphere and genuine appreciation for expert, client-focused training.

We do not charge rent; instead, we operate on a revenue split. The more sessions you deliver, the higher your earning per session. New trainers start with a fixed 50% rate for the first 3 months, which averages £39/hour. Beyond this introductory period, we aim to build a small team of full-time trainers, with earnings scaling with the number of sessions:

  • ~50 sessions per month: average £39/hour
  • ~60 sessions per month: average £42/hour
  • ~90 sessions per month: average £46/hour

This model rewards commitment and performance, giving you the opportunity to grow your earnings as you expand your client base and session load.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver safe, tailored 1:1 personal training sessions to clients of all fitness levels
  • Create bespoke fitness programmes that support individual goals
  • Motivate and engage clients in a positive and empowering way
  • Track progress and adapt training plans based on client needs and development
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and best practices in fitness and training

What We Offer

  • Opportunities to grow your client base through quarterly PT open events
  • Promotion via group classes and workshops to showcase your expertise
  • A supportive environment with a proven lead generation system
  • A collaborative and professional team culture

Benefits

  • Free gym membership
  • Complimentary fitness classes
  • Employee discounts

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 2 years of personal training experience
  • Certified Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification
  • Passion for helping people transform their health and fitness
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach
