Join us at Body Works West and our sister club, Notting Hill Club, where studio classes are central to our members’ experience. We’re looking for a talented Group Exercise Manager to oversee and elevate our studio programmes across both clubs.
About the Role
In this hands-on management role, you will lead the full group exercise offering across two boutique fitness destinations. From curating class timetables and recruiting top-tier instructors, to spearheading new launches and analysing performance, you’ll play a key role in creating a standout experience for our community of members of all ages. Working closely with the General Manager and Directors, you'll ensure our studio offerings reflect innovation, energy, and our signature 5-star service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the group exercise timetable across both clubs
- Recruit, coach, and coordinate freelance instructors
- Ensure brand consistency and high standards in all studio activity
- Launch and promote new classes, events, and seasonal campaigns
- Monitor attendance, revenue, and KPIs to optimise studio performance
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams
- Maintain accurate schedules, payments, and compliance records
- Oversee gym floor classes with the Fitness Manager
- Act as Duty Manager one weekend per month
Your Skills & Experience
- Proven experience teaching and managing group exercise programmes
- Strong understanding of studio operations and commercial targets

- Up-to-date knowledge of fitness industry trends
This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week), including teaching 5 classes per week. On a typical day, you’ll spend around 6 hours supporting studio operations through administration, team support, and member experience, alongside 1 hour dedicated to teaching and a 1-hour break. At times, you may be required to cover additional classes to support the team and ensure a seamless member experience.
