Body Foot and Leg Clinic specialise in Biomechanical Assessments, Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, Podiatry, Ultrasound Diagnosis, Injection Therapies and Foot Orthotic prescription and manufacture. We are a cohesive multidisciplinary team comprising orthotists, physiotherapists, sports therapists, technicians, and administrative staff. The clinic continue to invest in technology including 3D printers and motion capture software.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Orthotist located in Glasgow City. The Orthotist will be responsible for assessing and prescribing foot orthotics, AFOS, KAFOS and upper limb orthoses. The candidate must have a passion for foot and ankle biomechanics and gait analysis.
Qualifications
- BSc Orthotics and Prosthetics
- Expertise in Gait Analysis and a good knowledge of foot, ankle and lower limb biomechanics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
