Are you a finance professional with strong English and maybe also a little bit German language skills? We're looking for a motivated and independent individual to join our international accounting team. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the smooth operation of our finance department.
Key Responsibilities
- Debtors
- Posting cash received accurately.
- Sending reminders and following up on outstanding debts.
- Reconciling accounts receivable.
- Creditors
- Posting invoices and coding them correctly.
- Resolving invoice-related queries.
- Processing payments and conducting supplier reconciliations.
- Managing bank payments.
- Performing intercompany reconciliations.
- Posting salary journals and handling accruals and prepayments.
- Accounting for petty cash.
- Processing employee expenses.
- Additional Opportunities
- Taking responsibility for various ad‑hoc financial tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong financial numeracy and proficiency in Excel.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
