The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced CRM Manager with strong Braze expertise to join a growing digital business during an exciting phase of customer lifecycle transformation. This is a hands-on role focused on building, deploying, optimising and troubleshooting lifecycle communications across the customer journey. You'll work closely with marketing, product, design and data teams to deliver engaging, high-performing CRM programmes that reach the right customers at the right time.
The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable building sophisticated Braze Canvases, creating audience segments, resolving delivery issues and continually improving customer engagement through testing and optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and deploy email, SMS, in-app and customer journey campaigns within Braze
- Create and manage multi-step lifecycle programmes using Braze Canvas
- Design and optimise customer journeys across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, conversion and retention
- Troubleshoot campaign, audience and delivery issues within Braze
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective CRM journeys
- Manage audience segmentation, personalisation and targeting strategies
- Run A/B testing and optimisation programmes to improve campaign performance
- Monitor CRM performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Support customer data quality, attributes and event tracking
- Document CRM processes and help establish best practice across the business
Essential Skills
- Minimum 2 years' commercial experience using Braze
- Strong experience building and deploying campaigns using Braze Canvas
- Experience designing automated lifecycle and customer journey programmes
- Strong understanding of segmentation, personalisation and customer engagement strategies
- Experience troubleshooting CRM, campaign and data issues
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use performance data to drive improvements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Experience
- Experience within education, marketplace or consumer technology businesses
- Understanding of CRM data structures, customer events and integrations
- Basic HTML email editing skills
- Experience with SMS, push notifications and in-app messaging
