We’re working with a leading martech consultancy to find an experienced Braze specialist to join their growing team. The business works hands-on with some of the world’s best-known brands – helping them get more from their data, technology, and marketing operations.
This is a client-facing, delivery-focused role. You’ll be embedded in a major retail CRM programme, responsible for end-to-end campaign operations across owned channels – email, push notifications, SMS, and WhatsApp. The work is fast-paced and varied: you’ll need to be comfortable moving between technical build, content production, and performance analysis depending on what the programme demands.
The project lead has been clear about the profile they’re after: someone who combines solid Braze platform knowledge with front-end capability (HTML/CSS/JS), an eye for content and visual quality, and the structured mindset of a campaign ops professional. If you’re a blend of planner, communicator, and technically confident builder – this could be a strong fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Campaign build and delivery: Design, build, and deploy multi-channel campaigns in Braze across email, push, SMS, and WhatsApp. Configure campaigns with speed and accuracy, applying segmentation, personalisation, and sequencing rules. Work within the Braze drag-and-drop editor and write HTML/CSS/JS for custom templates and content blocks. Manage content within CMS/AEM environments, coordinating asset updates and last-minute changes. Validate visual experience across channels before deployment, ensuring brand and quality standards are met.
- Operational execution: Own day-to-day production timelines, ensuring campaigns go out on time and within agreed guardrails. Conduct QA checks prior to every deployment to catch issues before they reach customers. Document production workflows and maintain structured, repeatable processes. Support programme stakeholders and local market teams with production-related queries.
- Performance and optimisation: Use Braze analytics to track campaign performance and flag deviations. Execute A/B tests and implement predefined optimisation adjustments. Work with APIs and webhooks to support custom integrations and data flows. Provide structured feedback to inform continuous improvement across the programme.
What We’re Looking For
- Essential: Hands-on Braze experience – campaign building, segmentation, Canvas flows, and platform configuration. Proficiency with Braze’s drag-and-drop editor and ability to write and edit HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email and in-app content. Experience in CRM, owned channel marketing, or campaign operations – ideally within an agency or consultancy environment. A structured, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Strong QA instincts – you spot errors before they go live. Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset; comfortable working across client teams and internal stakeholders.
- Highly desirable: Experience with Content Management Systems, particularly Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Knowledge of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and mobile/web SDK integration. SQL and data analysis skills – ability to interrogate data to inform segmentation and optimisation. Understanding of marketing automation best practices and CXM strategy. Braze certification. Experience supporting global or multi-market CRM programmes.
What’s on Offer
- Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience.
- Hybrid working – 50/50 split between home and the London office (Southwark).
- Profit-based company bonus scheme.
- Fully funded private healthcare.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with a holiday buy and sell scheme.
- Company pension scheme.
- Wellbeing programme including an activity reward scheme and a free smartwatch.
- Monthly team lunches and evening social events.
- Professional development opportunities and ongoing training funding.
- A dynamic and inclusive working environment.
